The Traditional Karate Federation of Israel is currently supported entirely by membership fees from students and teachers. The organization is not currently able to field teams of competitors to international tournaments since all costs must be covered by the competitors themselves. This only karate-ka who can afford to make the trips abroad are able to compete.
We are seeking interested individuals and organizations to help create a fund and enable teams of competitors to attend international tournaments. If you are interested in assisting please contact TKFI board member Fred Schlomka.
